Designated/Restricted Gifts provide donors with an opportunity to direct their gift to a particular project, program, item, event, etc. not included in other available gift categories. In the donation form below, please indicate the designation intended for your gift in the gift intention box.
Special Categories may include, but are not limited to:
- Gifts for a specific project that benefits St. Bernard.
- Gifts to purchase a particular item for the School or Abbey.
These donations are generally restricted (not tax-deductible), but there are exceptions where a gift can be tax-deductible, based on the nature and intent of the gift. While these gifts can be limited in their scope, they provide for the overall good of the School and Abbey. We always recommend consulting with your tax advisor before making any charitable gift and especially before making a restricted gift.
